“ As a belated Valentine's Day dinner on 2/15, my husband and I chose to give Bristol a try...and what a right choice we made!!! For our appetizer, we ordered the mini New England lobster rolls. Who says you need to go to Maine to experience a good lobster roll? These rolls were amazing! The lobster mixture was so light and delicious, a perfect, not too heavy start to the meal. For drinks, I ordered the lavender drop and my husband ordered the old fashioned. Both drinks were wonderful! For entrees, I ordered the salmon panzanella salad which, besides a perfectly grilled salmon filet, consisted of goat cheese, balsamic roasted onions, Kalamata olives, croutons, a tomato vinaigrette, and garlic aioli over a bed of romaine lettuce. I VERY rarely say that a salad is addicting, but this salad definitely is. It was so good, I could eat it every day! My husband ordered the 6 oz filet mignon paired with a lobster tail. I tried both and they were very moist and delicious!!! For a side, I was curious about the lobster macaroni and cheese. The mac and cheese was gooey and seasoned perfectly and the lobster added a nice touch!!! You cannot have Valentine's Day dinner without dessert, right? We ordered the chocolate cake, which came with raspberry ice cream and homemade whipped cream. The cake was fudgy, moist, and rich and the raspberry ice cream was light and tangy. Thank you, Bristol, for a divine dining experience!!! The restaurant is gorgeous and our waiter was one of the best we've had!!! ”
“ My husband and I came here for our ten year anniversary. In an area full of chain restaurants, this place is so refreshing. We made a reservation for our anniversary, and we were meant to have a complimentary bottle of champagne, but because I was pregnant, they gave us a complimentary dessert instead which we thought was such a nice surprise! Our server, Tom, I believe his name is, was absolutely fantastic. He gave us the rundown on each dish, and you could tell how passionate he was about food and how well he knew these specific dishes. Based on his recommendation, he got me to try something I normally wouldn't order, and it was hands down the best meal I've ever had at a restaurant. Being from the east coast, I was really missing seafood, and this place absolutely satisfied the seafood craving. Not to mention the ambiance was very warm and cozy, and each member of the waitstaff was so friendly and accommodating. If you can swing the prices here, I say go for it! It's absolutely delicious and worth it, in my opinion. ”

“ Bristol has an excellent vibe and decor and a great place to eat downtown in Kansas City. We stopped in here for restaurant week and mostly ordered off the restaurant week menu. We also ordered a couple of appetizers. Started off with the crab cakes and calamari. The crab cakes tasted a little dry but the calamari was really delicious. Then had the gumbo which had great flavor packed with all kind of ingredients. Second dish was my kc strip which was cooked to my liking and finished it with the butter cake. Which was incredibly delicious a great value for the three dishes you get. We were really happy with the service and went out of their way to give high quality service. This is a great place to experience upscale dining in Kansas City. ”

“ Leawood, KS Love this place! Went here for a business dinner so I did not take any photos. So sad because this place is delicious. Very fancy. White table cloths. Fantastic food. Had calamari and oysters for an appetizer. The calamari comes with two sauces. Both delicious! I ordered the seafood mixed grill. Shocked at how large the portion was. It included shrimp, scallops (perfection), crab cake and salmon. It was accompanied by mashed potatoes and asparagus. The food was amazing! Our waiter was not so great. He was forgetful, not around much, mixed up our meals (there were only 6 of us) and he put the dessert menus in my to go bag. I know his name but won't mention it because I am hoping it was just an off night for him. You must try this place. It is beyond your expectations! ”
“ This was such a great dinner. Our server was on point despite the roads being poor and they were short staffed. We could not tell at all, we were well taken care of. Never would have known, except that we asked how the weather was affecting business. We were celebrating an anniversary and received a complementary toast of champagne. Our group tried three appetizers... The oysters Rockefeller, the calamari, and the Bang Bang shrimp. All three were excellent, but the shrimp with the shishito peppers were a favorite, crispy and a great flavor. Our group wasn't very adventurous with main dishes, three of us ordered the jumbo crabcakes. They did not disappoint. They were full of crab meat and delicious. I ordered the mixed grill. I thought the salmon was especially well prepared, very tender. The highlight for me though was the scallops. I don't know if I hadn't had them for a while, but they were so good...Their buttery. goodness really hit the spot. I think I need to come back soon and order a scallop dish! We did the dessert too. The carrot cake was solid as was the crème brûlée. The chocolate velvet cake came with a raspberry ice cream, which was spoken highly of. The last person in our party ordered the apple croustade, an apple turnover-like dessert with a puff pastry crust and vanilla ice cream. We left very full and satisfied. I would be remiss to note that I am signed up for emails from the Bristol and enjoyed this feast for 20% off due to a three day special they were running. If I recall correctly you get a perk just for signing up. Highly recommend. ”
“ Bristol is so fire. I really love this spot. It's incredible. The ceiling is gorgeous there's a lovely fireplace that's so inviting and cozy. The food here is consistently fabulous. I order the scallops every time they're cooked so perfectly. The risotto is also delicious I usually get it and it's so creamy and soft. ”
